Neel Singh had always been deeply interested in technology and artificial intelligence. As AI tools began exploding in popularity, he dove in headfirst — trying new models, testing writing assistants, experimenting with image generators, and exploring everything the space had to offer.

But the more he explored, the more frustrated he became. There were thousands of AI tools scattered across the internet — on Product Hunt, in Reddit threads, in newsletters, on random blogs. Each one promising to change the way you work. But finding the right one for a specific task? That was a nightmare.

Existing directories were either outdated, incomplete, or just a list of names with no real context. There was no single place that told you: what does this tool actually do, who is it for, how much does it cost, what are people saying about it, and what are the best alternatives?

So Neel decided to build it himself.
